Right on. Write on. I read the article and drew mostly the same conclusions. I made comments about it and received the usual attacks, but really surprised me was the number of comments to me denying the embargo, saying Cuba is free and open to trade with any country including their big neighbor. I was surprised the continuing embargo was not mentioned at all. I am afraid now that this article will be quoted in every right wing publication - because as much right hates CBC (as well as many,many,many other things - they know it is a usually credible source, unlike most of their so-called Media. It is really a pity that this was allowed to get out the door without a critical editor taking to task wide swaths of it.
Good article and I hope it gets more widely shared.
